Aalmi Urdu Foundation's 'Mehfil-e-Zikr-e-Ali' - Dawat-e-Iftar By Dr. Kabir Siddiqui

Aalmi Urdu Foundation organized 'Mehfil-e-Zikr-e-Ali' and Dawat-e-Iftar at Media Palace, Hyderabad. Senior journalist and Editor-in-Chief of Aalmi Media Group; Dr. Kabir Siddiqui and other distinguished Urdu, Persian and Arabic scholars gave their revered homage to Hazrat Ali. A Mushaira was held in New Delhi, Hyderabad and several other states of India. Dr. Kabir Siddiqui, son of late Mohtaram Ali Siddiqui Saheb, who organized these Mushairas, is President of Aalmi Urdu Foundation and 'Abutraab Educational Trust'. 

On the auspicious occasion of 'Martyrdom Day of Maula-e-Kainaiyat Syedna Hazrat Ali Murtaza', a 'Mehfil-e-Zikr-e-Ali and Dawat-e-Iftar' was held at Media Palace Auditorium, Jamia Nizamia Complex, Gunfoundry, Hyderabad. In this, Maulana Syed Nisar Hussain Haider Agha, in his keynote address, highlighted the great virtues of sacrifice, patience and forbearance of Hazrat Ali. 

Several scholars threw light on various aspects of the life of 'Maula-e -Kainaat Hazrat Ali'. In this auspicious gathering, famous journalists; Dr. Fazil Hussain Parvez, editor of weekly 'Gawah', poet Mr. Salahuddin Nayyar, Mr. Zia Qadri Ajmeri, printer and publisher; Rashtriya Sahara Group, discussed the greatness, humanity and divine values ​​of Hazrat Ali. The speakers recalled the Aalami Mushairas organized by late Mohtaram Janaab Ali Siddiqui Saheb, and discussed the services of his son, Dr. Kabir Siddiqui. 

They urged Dr. Kabir Siddiiqui to continue to organize, such scholars literary gatherings in the memory of Mohtaram Ali Siddiqui Saheb, through his organization. They said several scholars from pan India, are willing to help in this noble, spiritual and educative endeavor of Aalami Media Foundation. 

Dr. Kabir Siddiqui, while highlighting the qualities of 'Maula-e -Kainaat Hazrat Ali' said, "I am thankful to Latifuddin Latif and Ahmed Siddiqui Mukesh for their ceaseless efforts to help and promote the Islamic spiritual teachings for the community. In the gathering of 'Naat and Manqabat', apart from the director of the Mushaira, Shri Salahuddin Nayyar, poets and scholars, Mumtaz Danish, Qazi Farooq Aarfi, Dr. Tayyab Pasha Qadri, Ali Javad Shahpur, Prof. Masood Ahmed, Latifuddin Latif, Tashkeel Anwar Razzaqi, Shakeel Abbas and Roshan Ali Roshan were given resounding appreciation for rendering their compositions. The event was conducted by famous poet, Latifuddin Latif. Iftar, Namaaz and dinner were organized. Especially the hall lit up with 'electric kumkums' that turned out to be too small! 

Dr. Kabir Siddiqui had skillfully decorated the venue, in honour of Hazrat Ali. Under the guidance of Dr. Fazil Hussain Parvez, head of Media Palace, Abdul Rashid Junaid, Raza Khan and others, who helped in organizing this humble, successful congregation; all participants paid their obeisance to Hazrat Ali. All the women participants and their families, received traditional hospitality of Begum Ali Siddiiqui Sahiba. Syed Usman Rashid, Media Secretary, 'Abutraab Educational Trust' thanked Kabir Siddiqui Saheb and all the dignitaries who solemnised the pious occasion. 

O Most Merciful, keep me safe, under Thy protection, from (all evils) that are before me, behind me, above me, below me, and surround me from all sides.

On completion, say the following dua of Imam `Ali, peace be upon him : سُبْحَانَ مَنْ لاَ تَبِيدُ مَعَالِمُهُ. subhana man la tabidu ma`alimuhu.
