I was enamored by fighter pilots! I love to be in air, so what better than Airforce? As senior Defence Correspondent of Doordarshan News, I covered several Airforce events. During the period of Air Chief Marshal A.K. Suri & Air Chief Marshal S.K. Kaul, we flew to Leh Laddhakh & Siachin border area. I covered the Kargil war & IAF aircraft that transgressed into Pakistan, flown by Air Marshal Vinod Bhatia aka Jimmy. We would often attend the At'Home by ACM at Air House.
